This service allows customers authorized by the MDOT MVA to securely upload a formatted request file containing identifying information for vehicles for which they need records. Each night the system processes the request files, looks up the requested vehicle records, and returns a results file which is securely downloaded by the customer.
Customers are authorized by the MVA to access the service. Services can only be accessed by subscribers that meet the federal Driver Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) permissible use. Companies are billed monthly for records searched through the system.
